Milong, meaning “conversation” in the Mezimé language, transcends time and celebrates our stories. It is more than a performance; it is a living celebration of the interwoven narratives that define us both individually and collectively. Through this artistic approach, Larissa EBONG seeks to raise awareness about the importance of our roots while fostering a future enriched with empathy and intergenerational solidarity.

The performance relies on movement and traditional symbols such as rope, paint, and stone, metaphors for the invisible generational bonds that connect us. The choreographic language explores intimacy and memory, linking body, space, and object.
This work creates an intergenerational dialogue, engaging participants as active interlocutors. By highlighting the values and traditions that shape our identity, it encourages understanding and respect for past experiences while instilling belief in the future. MILONG celebrates transmission, diversity, and the strength of intergenerational connections, fostering collective reflection for mutual growth.
