What
Created for the Danse à la Balsa Festival, Baklava is a twenty-minute piece for a trio of dancers who perform a succession of short sequences to rock music, interrupted by black-outs.
In the vein of cabaret entertainment, the performance stretches from eroticism––notably inspired by the Kama Sutra––to the superficiality of a French varieté interlude, exploring performative moments executed for the sole pleasure of choreographic composition.
