A short choreography in which Thierry Smits revisits themes he has frequently tackled in the past: sacrifice and ritual, themes which enable him to work on bodies between dance, theatre and performance.
The suffering inflicted through physical violence remains the core issue of this piece, in which two dancers engage in a sadomasochistic relationship at best in, or in a resolutely cruel experience of torture at worst, inflicted by one and not desired by the other. The audience retains control of the choice that best suits their individual emotional resiliences.
