Two moments of an exceptional conversation with Esther Ferrer for people studying or completing art schools, and young artists involved in performance art.
Do not hesitate to come with a lot of questions, reflections, doubts… about your practices, hers, those of other performers, whether in terms of daily practice, creation, diffusion, relationships, traces…, in solo or in collaboration… !
Esther Ferrer
Esther Ferrer (San Sebastián, 1937 (ES) – lives in París (FR) is known for her work as a visual artist as well as for her performances, both alone and as part of the Spanish group ZAJ. Her work has always been more oriented towards art/action, an ephemeral practice, than towards art/production.

From the 1970s onwards, she devoted part of her activity to visual arts: reworked photographs, installations, paintings based on the series of prime numbers, objects…
She has exhibited in Spain and international galleries and fairs such as FIAC and ARCO. During her career as a performer, she has participated in festivals in Europe as well as in Canada, Japan, Thailand, Korea, Cuba, Mexico and in the USA…
She is also the author of two radio pieces for Radio National de España and has given seminars on performance art in Universities and Schools of Fine Arts.
