The neo-burlesque duo of French visual artists confront Alexa, Amazon’s virtual assistant. Fine arts and home automation.
Pâle Mâle (FR)
Pâle Mâle is a neo-burlesque and post-guardist duo, comprising the artists Tom Castinel and Antonin Horquin. Their artistic quest ––here, a synaesthesia between writing and visual arts–– is born less from a reflection on the history of forms than from a satirical look at society. Their multidisciplinary project examines the tribulations of an eccentric duo, Corps 1 and Corps 2, in our contemporary world. Pâle Mâle has performed in various French cultural centres (Le CAP, Art3, 19 CRAC) and in Germany (Halle14 in Leipzig and Kunsthalle in Göppingen).
