The artists invite all those they met in their “Anger Bureau” as well as the festival audience to come together for a joint production and to create collective images in public space.
Habitant.e.s des Images (BE)
Habitant.e.s des images emerged in 2013 and is active in the city and the media, art, and all that touches upon life’s social dimensions. Whenever art echoes societal or urban issues and actively involves those concerned: inhabitants, experts, institutions… The structure develops engaged and collaborative works that question power relationships through representative systems: magazines, posters, films, installations, exhibitions, debates… Mélanie Peduzzi (BE) and Adèle Jacot (CH) founded Habitant.e.s des images after their finishing respective art courses at La Cambre in photography and art in urban space. From the outset, they broadened their fields of action well beyond the artistic milieu. Adèle Jacot also has a Master’s degree in urban planning from Lille, where she developed a critical thesis on participation. Mélanie Peduzzi obtained the BAGIC in mediation and intercultural development at the CBAI.
