Kubra Khademi (AF / FR)
Kubra Khademi, born in 1989 in Kabul, and studied fine arts at Kabul University and at the Beaconhouse University in Lahore. A feminist artist, who with her performance Armor (2015) in the Kabul city-centre, denounces a society where women are persecuted. She had to flee her native country for France. A Knight in the Ordre des Arts et des Lettres, she exhibited in the windows of the Ministry of Culture at the Palais Royal in Paris, at the Palais de la porte dorée (Visions d’Exil Festival). She has been performing at the invitation of museums, festivals (including the SIGNAL Festival in Brussels in September 2018) and theatres. Latitudes Prod handle her engagements.
