Fire & Ashes

Thierry Smits conceived of “Fire & Ashes” as a solo performance for a dancer-singer, set within a vast, dystopian stage installation. The space is an abandoned, man-made structure where all activity has ceased. Inside this forlorn, decaying environment, bathed in harsh light and filled with eerie echoes, an epic collage of movement, action, and sound unfolds driven by the constant barrage of catastrophic news.
