We welcome you to the « Intensive Becoming East Asian Course ». This course allows you to to carefully observe, deeply analyze, and engage with East Asian culture at various stages. Alternatively, it provides an interactive environment on a different level than one-sided analysis video archives such as TED.
Hongsuk Ahn (BE)
We aim to become part of the East Asian community and experience their lives firsthand. Additionally, everyone who participates in the performance will be eligible to become an honorary East Asian. Honorary East Asians will receive a small prize money along with a trophy and medal, You will also be provided with a profile photo shoot with a professional photographer, which is necessary for you to be appointed as an honorary East Asian public relations ambassador and begin full-fledged activities.

Hongsuk Ahn (he, him) is a performer, photographer, and painter based in Belgium currently studying at La Cambre. His performative thinking digs into social and cultural issues and dynamics, notably focusing on the nuances of racial discrimination against Asians in the Western context and on the irrationality of the East Asian Social Systems.
In his work, Hongsuk Ahn actively adopts humorous, playful, and exaggerated modes of expression to encourage active engagement with the latent and pervasive violence.
