You’ve seen a play, a performance, a show… but you don’t know what to say about it, or where to start? Do you have a question that’s burning a hole in your tongue, but you’re afraid of being rude, impertinent or off-topic? You’ve got too many ideas and don’t know which one to choose… So get your cards ready and have them drawn by the artist.
The game can begin…
Chloé Dechery, Marion Boudier (FR), Luna Descamps, Louise Valin (BE)
The Post-Show Game is a card game for entering into conversation with an artist after seeing his or her performance. Through a protocol of several card draws, the game renews the form of the artist interview and can be played by several people, in a small group, privately, or with a wider audience.
How can we make the interview a genuine moment of exchange? How can we avoid the narcissistic pitfalls of this exercise? How can we share different perspectives on a shape? What if, for once, it were the artist being interviewed who asked the questions?
