The Greek performance artist Theano Metaxa invites workers in, around, and against EU bodies and institutions to participate in a creative workshop. Led by the artist, participants will be invited to answer questions from a personal perspective. By sharing their opinions and assessments, they will re-imagine and re-create a hypothetical scenario based on historical and fictional events from the past.

The recorded workshop conclusions will culminate in Theano’s final performance, where they will be presented to the public anonymously. However, participants are also invited to take part in the performance to share their thoughts directly with the public.
The workshop sessions will be preceded by the artist’s arrival at Brussels Schuman railway station, which everybody is welcome to attend.
Theano Metaxa has been working in Theater since 2005 in Athens, mainly as an actress and director. Alongside her theatrical stage work, she is constantly researching and developing personal and collaborative performances in the public space and urban environments.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Participants will be guided into a space of reflection, where they will be asked to step away from the hectic rhythms of the competitive world that characterizes contemporary western societies.
