Over a pre-defined period of time and following three protocols concerning rules of conduct, two people exhaust each other’s energy in the physical resistance they put up against each other.
Les gens d’Uterpan (FR)
Initiated in France by Annie Vigier and Franck Apertet, Les gens d’Uterpan’s work have set out to question the norms and conventions governing exhibitions and live performance. By focusing on the mechanisms of each individual’s adjustment, body and creativity to these contexts, Les gens d’Uterpan have created a critical work derived from the choreographer’s original practice.
